Time to reflect

As discussed in my previous blog I chose Digital audio and more specifically to do a podcast. Coming into this it was all new to me and something i've never tried doing before. I learned a lot along the way and would like to reflect on the experience in this blog! Myself and two other came together to discuss the ideas we had. We all agreed that a podcast was something we would all be interested in making and since we couldn't find a specific topic to talk about that would grasp the listeners attention we decided to do an interview style podcast using story-corp inspired questions which was suggested by our lecturer Sean. As our group consisted of two girls and one boy we thought that it would be interesting to ask the same questions to each boy and girl and sort of compare their answers and see what differed between them. Our first task - Creativity

I have decided to choose digital audio as my first mission. We have chosen to do a podcast as they are very accessible and have become extremely popular over the past two or three years. Over the past year i've discovered podcasts myself and have loved listening to them ever since. For our podcast myself and two others have decided to ask each other fun, relatable questions. Creating a podcast has been something that I have been thinking about doing for a while and i'm excited to have this opportunity to be able to create one. We plan on recording the podcast on the voice memos app on an iPhone. From there we will edit it using software on our laptop. Hopefully through editing we can add intro music and some sound effects. It will be interesting to see and learn how audio can affect a listeners experience and how much it makes an impact on the podcast.
